1. Life is Short.
The future is not promised to anyone. Your time on earth is limited. Never take anything for granted in life. You don’t know what the next moment is going to bring. As much as we keep planning and working for the future, we can’t fathom our lifespan. We will lose our loved ones whom we see every day. None of them will live with us forever. Therefore, live in the present and cherish everything while you can.
2. Time is Money.
With time you will realize that we will earn money but won’t have enough time to spend with our loved ones. Time is precious so learn to respect it now before it slips off your hand. Manage your time well while you are thriving for your dreams.
3. Don’t Rush, Life is Not A Race to Win.
It is your life, so choose your own pace. You don’t have to compare it with someone else. Create your own path and walk on it fearlessly. Don’t rush into things simply because other people at your age or in your circle are achieving certain milestones in life. Everything will come to you at the right time under the right circumstances.
4. Health is Wealth.
There is no blessing better than good health. If you have good health, consider yourself fortunate. As the body ages through time, we are exposed to various ailments. It could be diabetics, stress, heart diseases, blood pressure, arthritis, etc. It is essential to take care of your health by regular medical check-ups. Remember that prevention is better than cure. To avoid any further major disease, it is important to take care of your health when you are young.
5. Simplicity is the Key.
Keep your life simple and minimal. Once you leave this world, no one is going to remember you for your lifestyle. Spend your money wisely. There is no point in spending lavishly on brands that are merely a status symbol. Don’t buy things which you don’t want. Instead, strive for a simple and gratified life.
6. Nothing Lasts Forever.
Nothing in life will last forever, not you, and not me. The pain that we suffer today will be replaced by even greater pain tomorrow who knows. Never take any decision of life based on temporary feelings and emotions. It can ruin your life beyond repair. If you are struggling in life, remember that the phase is temporary. Keep going and you will attain victory eventually.
7. Choose the Work You Love.
We spend our lifetime working hard to earn enough for our loved ones so that we can support families and survive life. While we are giving so much time to our work, ensure that it is something that you love and it brings you happiness. Don’t kill yourself for work that can easily replace you. If you love your work, you will always enjoy it no matter how hectic it could get at certain times. If you are not happy with your job, you can always change and do something that adds value to your life.
8. Give More than You Receive.
Be generous while giving. There is an immense joy when you give a part of yourself to others Whether it is love, kindness, or any materialistic thing, always give more than you receive. Spend enough on underprivileged people. Don’t wait to earn enough and then give. You can give as little as your time to someone who needs it.
9. Apologize for Mistakes.
As humans, we are bound to make mistakes in life. Whether you have hurt someone intentionally or unintentionally, there is no shame in accepting your mistake. Apologize and correct your behavior. Apologizing will mend the relationship and will give you another chance to fix things.
10. Build Ever-Lasting Friendship.
Make real friends and keep them for a lifetime. Nurture your friendships. You will need their support in all walks of life whether you are progressing or have hit rock bottom. If you have earned a few people in life who make you happy and encourage you for your growth, you have succeeded in life.
11. Learn to Face Your Fears.
The only thing that can prevent you from achieving success is fear. Face your fears. Don’t let any fear hinder your growth. Be courageous enough to overcome your fears by facing them.
12. Be Careful of Your Words.
Choose your words carefully when you speak to people. Words hold power to change people. Don't hurt someone with your words. Hurtful words will be engraved on the heart for a lifetime. You can never take back spoken words no matter how hard you try. It is better to be silent to avoid regrets later.
13. Practice Gratitude Every Day.
Be grateful for everything in life. No matter how little things are, practice thankfulness. Don’t be greedy in the process of wanting more. Learn to appreciate your life at every moment. Practice gratitude every day. Think of all the little things you have which others don’t. Make a gratitude journal to make it more interesting. If you are grateful, life will give you more.
14. Spend Time with Nature.
Every day nature demonstrates deep values of life. It can impart the most powerful lessons of life. If you feel lost, nature will guide you. Have you spent time looking at the trees? Change in the color of leaves marks the arrival of a new season. Trees survive all the weather without uprooting themselves. That's the strength of trees. The mountains are high but humble. The oceans are deep but hold the dirt that we dump. Yet they appear serene and peaceful. Spend time with nature since they have the power to heal minds.
15. Be Your Own Savior.
Never be dependent on others to resolve your issues. Improve your decision-making abilities and critical thinking to tackle difficulties in life. Be a problem solver and your own savior instead of looking out for help from others. Consider opinions from others but always follow your instinct.
16. Give Priority to Your Family.
Uphold your family at every stage of life, whether it is your parents, spouse, or children. If you are busy accumulating wealth while ignoring your responsibilities towards your family, you are jeopardizing your own happiness. So never forget to give precedence to your family. Give them the love they deserve.
17. Live Life to the Fullest.
Every moment in life that you experience is precious. Make it count. Don't forget to have fun while you are growing up. All these moments and memories that you build now will be your savior as you grow old. When you look back you will be proud to see that you had a life that was lived well. Live your life to the fullest without worrying about the future.

18. People will Leave.
People will leave you at your worst. This is the harsh reality of life. Be prepared for it. No matter how hard you want them to stick, they will leave and you can’t do much about it.
19. Forgiveness is Freedom.
Forgiveness will give you freedom from holding on to grudges and help you to move forward in life. Forgive people even if they don't seek forgiveness. It is only for your peace of mind. Also, learn to forgive yourself for your mistakes. Being guilty and remorseful towards something will hold you back from moving forward in life.

20. Don’t Judge People.
Never judge people for their appearances. Looks will fade but the character will stay. Always give time and space to reveal their deep layers on their own. With the fast pace of life and massive information to consume, we often overlook our real needs. You don’t have to know everything in life and it is okay. You are still acceptable. You can’t keep updating yourself with all the latest data and information just to fit in someone’s group.

New ideas will uncover a different horizon of your mind. Be open to new ideas and challenge yourself at every pace of life. Don’t hesitate in taking risks unless it is life-threatening. The challenges and risks will help you to transform into a better person.

Whether you have been waiting to learn to play guitar, driving, swimming, etc. remember you can always start it today. There is no age to learn something new in life. Your life will keep teaching lessons and surprise you with its never-ending experiences. So never stop learning.

Don't just exist in life. Live for something that brings excitement in your life. Live for something that motivates you to wake up every day. Having a purpose adds value to your life. Live life in a way that you will be remembered even after you leave this world. People will never forget your character and how you made them feel. Make your life worthwhile. Be humble, spread kindness, and leave a legacy behind.
